Union Minister for Minority Affairs Shri Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi today formally inaugurated 'Hunar Haat', being organised at IITF, Pragati Maidan in New Delhi.

Ministry of Minority Affairs organised Mushaira, based on teachings and principles of Mahatma Gandhi as a part of Govt decision to commemorate 150th Birth Anniversary of the Father of the Nation, at Dr Ambedkar International Centre, Janpath. Famous Urdu poets like Janab Wasim Barelvi, Janab Haseeb Soz, Janab Manzar Bhopali, Janab Mansoor Usmani, Janab Muzaffar Ali, poetess Dr. Naseem Nikhat, Janab Iqbal Ashar, Janab Aizaz Popular Merathi, Janab Surendra Singh Shajar, Dr. Nikhat Amrohvi enthralled the audience.

Haj review meeting was held on 3rd october 2018 at Antyodaya Bhawan. Senior officials from Minority Affairs Ministry, External Affairs, Civil Aviation, Health Ministry and Haj Committee of India and Indian Consulate in Saudi Arabia attended the meeting.It is for the first time that preparations for next year's Haj has been started immediately after completion of the current year''s Haj process. Haj 2019 will also be announced in October

Today formally inaugurated Hunar Haat2018 , being organised at North Central Zone Cultural Center, Near Circuit House in Allahabad, by Ministry of Minority Affairs from 08th to 16th September 2018.

Hon'ble Union Minister for Minority Affairs, Shri Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi launched India Post Payments Bank branch at Ajmer Head Post Office on 1st September, 2018 as a part of nationwide launch of IPPBs.
